Description

Sphynx cats, senior cats, chihuahuas and small short-haired dogs have one thing in common: they often find the house pretty chilly in January. This knit sweater adds a soft layer without getting in the way of their movements.

An honest note: not every cat likes wearing clothes. Start with short periods indoors and watch how they react. If they freeze, lie flat or try to take it off, remove it: their comfort comes before the photo.

How to choose the size

XS: chest 30 cm, back 30 cm
S: chest 35 cm, back 35 cm
M: chest 40 cm, back 40 cm
L: chest 45 cm, back 45 cm
XL: chest 50 cm, back 50 cm

Measure the chest girth behind the front legs, and the back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. The sweater should be snug without squeezing. Between two sizes, go with the larger one.

Care

Hand wash in cold water.
Dry flat. No dryer: the knit will shrink.

Will my cat agree to wear it? Some will, others never. Try a few minutes at a time, with cuddles or a treat. Never force a cat that shows signs of stress.
Can it be worn outside? It's a sweater for indoors or a short outing in dry weather. For snow and slush, go with a coat instead.
