Description
Some dogs have a natural coat made for the Far North. Others start shivering as soon as the thermometer drops below zero. This coat is for them: short-haired dogs, senior dogs, or those who think January lasts way too long.
It covers the back and belly, where snow builds up and the cold bites. The inside is velvet-lined and padded, and the waterproof nylon shell rinses off in no time.
How to choose the size
- Chest girth: the widest part of the rib cage, just behind the front legs. This is the most important measurement.
- Back length: from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
- Available sizes: S, M, L and XL. Between two sizes, go with the larger one. See the size guide.
Care
- Hand wash in cold water.
- Lay flat to air dry. No dryer.
- Rinse off road salt and slush after walks to keep the fabric in good shape.

FAQ
- Does my dog really need a coat? It depends on their fur, size, age and how long they spend outside. A husky probably doesn't need one; a small short-haired dog who shivers often does. Your vet can advise you.
- Can my dog keep it on indoors? We recommend it for outings only. Take it off when you get home so your dog doesn't overheat, and never leave them unsupervised in clothing.
