Four boots, four paws safe from road salt and slush.
Benefits
- Non-slip rubber sole for icy sidewalks
- High knit cuff that comes up the leg and keeps snow out
- Two reflective straps per boot: one at the ankle, one on top, for a secure fit and to be seen at night
- Water-resistant upper that rinses off easily
- Set of 4: one boot per paw
Description
Designed for medium to large dogs, these boots protect paw pads from road salt, ice crystals and cold sidewalks. The knit cuff slips on like a sock, then the two straps lock the boot in place.
Everyone has seen the same scene the first winter with boots: four robot steps across the living room, then a boot lost in a snowbank. The secret to avoiding that second part is the right size and snug straps.
How to choose the size
- Stand your dog on a sheet of paper, with their weight on the front paw.
- Trace around the paw, claws included, and measure the width at the widest point.
- Choose the size with an inside width equal to or slightly larger than that. Between two sizes? Go with the larger one.
| Size | Width (cm) | Length (cm) |
|---|---|---|
| S | 5.0 | 6.0 |
| M | 5.5 | 6.5 |
| L | 6.5 | 7.0 |
| XL | 7.0 | 8.0 |
| XXL | 8.0 | 9.5 |

Care
- Rinse off the salt with lukewarm water after your walk and let air dry, away from direct heat.
- Hand washing recommended. No dryer.
- Always take the boots off when you get home, and make sure the paws are dry.

FAQ
- My dog walks funny in boots. Is that normal? Yes, almost every dog lifts their paws high at first. Have them wear the boots for a few minutes indoors, with treats, then make the outings longer.
- Will the boots fall off? A boot that falls off is almost always too big or not tight enough. Tighten both straps: you should be able to slide one finger under, not two.
- Do they work for very small dogs? No, the smallest size fits a paw about 5 cm wide (beagle, cocker spaniel). For a chihuahua or a Yorkshire terrier, they're too big.
